2021 Art Calendar. A beautiful A4 wall calendar on 130gsm silk paper.
Featuring the work of local artists:
Beaded Blooms, Black Chapel, Dawn Stringer-Ruff, Delia Keddie, Flipping Zombies, Gary Luxton, Louisa Longstaff-Scales, Lynn Excell, Murals by Wallworx, Paul Vickery, Simon Bragg and Teigh-Anne Shave.
I set up the Window Gallery Chelmsford in June 2018 to give local artists a space to display their work. We would normally host a new exhibition of local art in the window every month but as a measure against the spread of Covid-19, we have been hosting virtual exhibitions. 15 % from the sale of each calendar will go to local charities MIND and Sanctus.
Sanctus provide for free:
- A warm and friendly environment for those who have nowhere else to go.
- Free food, drink and clothing exchange for the homeless, vulnerable and those unable to provide for themselves. In 2019 they served over 18,300 free meals.
- Free counselling, advice and advocacy to support life changes and improvement. In 2019 they completed over 1,100 sessions.
- Enrichment activities such as training courses to help returning to work, book, writing and music clubs.
