We are so happy to welcome artists back to display their work at the gallery. Our first exhibition back in the gallery in April 2021 is landscape photographer Julie Weedon. When did you start making art? 7 years ago.
What sort of art do you create? Has this changed over time? Photography, in particular landscape, street and dereliction.
What inspires you? The work of other photographers.
What do you do if you’re not inspired? Take a drive around the back roads and see what I come across!
Do you have any connections with the art community in Chelmsford? I did the photography for Karen Hughes’ website – Creative Coaching Community very recently, this will go live very soon !
How often do you create? As often as possible.
What’s the best thing about being an artist? The freedom of expression and creativity.
Have you exhibited locally before? Yes at the Ideas Hub.
Do you sell your work? If so, is it difficult to part with it? Yes and no !
